God Chooses Our Calling | Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld

Tue, 15 Sep 2026 17:12:26 +0000

Many think of "vocation" as their job, but the word means "calling." It points to the fact that God has a calling for each of us. It may entail the place of our employment, but it is much more. God had a calling upon David to be King. It wasn't obvious to his family and not even Samuel. Yet, we measure externals and God looks at the heart. Dr. John uses the early life of David as a template for us all. God has a purpose for us and that purpose surfaces as we yield to God from the heart.

Learning Courage | Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld

Tue, 15 Sep 2026 17:12:26 +0000

The story of David and Goliath is widely known. We learn it in Sunday School. We hear it referred to in our culture. Still, the lesson of the story gets distorted. Many assume that the story is an encouragement for us to successfully fight our "giants", but Dr. John points out that victory is not ours to win. Victory comes from a higher source than our own efforts. David remembered God's promise and recognized His presence. The battle is God's to win!

Blind Spot - A documentary on campus antisemitism

Mon, 14 Sep 2026 17:10:19 +0000

The first film to document campus antisemitism both before and after October 7, Blind spot is a wake-up call turned rallying cry from students facing and fighting antisemitism on their campuses, in their own words.
It tells the story from the perspectives of more than two dozen students at more than a dozen schools who’ve experienced and fought against this hatred.

JBS is proud to present the exclusive television premiere of Blind Spot.

UN approves new map showing Africa’s true size #ajshorts

Sat, 05 Sep 2026 06:55:13 +0000

The UN General Assembly has backed a resolution to change to maps that more accurately show the true size of Africa. Supporters of the resolution say the widely used, and centuries-old, Mercator world map distorts the size of countries, thereby changing how they are seen.

ACTS I & II | The True Church | Acts 2:42-47 | Philip Anthony Mitchell

Sat, 22 Aug 2026 16:33:29 +0000

In this piercing conclusion to our powerful series, ACTS I & II, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell brought a bold word from Acts 2:42-47. The Church was never about size but about faithfulness. A mixed multitude of disciples, rooted in the Word, fighting for true community (koinonia) with glad and generous hearts. Meeting in temples and homes, they cared enough about the lost that the Lord added to their number daily.

This is THE TRUE CHURCH that Christ died to leave with us. As time runs out: Devote yourself. The King is coming.

Welcome to the official YouTube channel for 2819 Church. This channel features powerful and life-impacting messages from Philip Anthony Mitchell and guest communicators.

As you listen to these sound biblical messages you can expect to be challenged, stirred, matured, and inspired in your faith and walk with God. For more information about us visit 2819Church.org.

God Knows All about Me

Tue, 15 Sep 2026 17:10:29 +0000

The first six verses of Psalm 139 convey the staggering truth that the Lord knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what we do, where we go, what we think, what we say, all that we long for, and all that we need. Alistair Begg reminds us that there’s no safer place to put our trust than in Almighty God, who doesn’t love from a distance but searches us and knows us, sending His Son to lay down His life for us in order that we may also know Him.

Scripture: Psalm 139:1–24
Preached: June 13, 2023

A Child of the King (2019) | Dean Cain | Full Faith-Based Movie

Fri, 28 Aug 2026 04:50:13 +0000

Dr. Wesley King left an American medical practice for the Ecuadorian Amazon and found children with nowhere to go. What he built there became an orphanage, and what it cost him is the story this film tells.

Based on true events. The Kings faced the opposition that tends to arrive when someone starts doing this kind of work: money, logistics, the reach of child trafficking into the communities they were serving, and stretches where the whole thing looked like it would collapse. The film follows them through the discouragement and out the other side.

Starring Kathy Patterson and Michael Sigler as Dr. Donna and Dr. Wesley King, with Dean Cain as Todd King. Written and directed by Jason Campbell for JC Films.
