Rece Davis On Notre Dame
“Basically what Notre Dame is, they kinda surround you the whole time and you feel like you have a chance. Then all of a sudden they’re kinda on you. They’re up 7 late in the half and then they add a FG and it’s 10. Then it gets tighter. Then the 3rd quarter it’s 17, then it’s 24, and then all of a sudden they’ve choked you out.”

Notre Dame Football penalty stats:
- 2025: The Irish ranked 42nd in penalties per game (5.5)
- 2025: Notre Dame was 60th in penalty yards per game (51.8)
- 2024: Tied for 66th in both of the above categories
