Few Catholics know what Saint Teresa of Avila revealed about what truly happens when you visit the grave of a deceased loved one. This isn't superstition or empty sentiment—it's profound theological truth that has consoled millions of believers for centuries.
Saint Teresa of Avila, Doctor of the Church and one of the greatest mystics in Christian history, received extraordinary revelations during her mystical ecstasies about the connection between the living and the dead. What she discovered will forever change how you understand visiting cemeteries, praying for your departed loved ones, and the powerful reality of the Communion of Saints.
In this video, you'll discover the ten specific things that happen when you kneel before a grave and pray. From immediate recognition to the profound comfort your presence brings, from the relief of their suffering in Purgatory to the mystical union that occurs between your soul and theirs—each revelation is more powerful than the last.
The tenth revelation, which Saint Teresa guarded for years before sharing only with her closest spiritual daughters, will completely transform not only how you honor the dead but your entire spiritual life and preparation for eternity.
This knowledge isn't just beautiful theology—it's practical wisdom that empowers you to become a true apostle for the souls in Purgatory. Your prayers matter. Your visits have real spiritual power. Your faithfulness can literally shorten a soul's time of purification.
