Limited funding, lack of strategy, and the pursuit of quick wealth have been cited as key factors hindering innovation growth in Uganda.
During the four-day Innovation Boot Camp and Pitch 2025 at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communication Technology in Nakawa, innovators were urged to understand community challenges and develop practical solutions.
The Deputy Principal at UICT Dr. Irene Nakiyimba encouraged ICT and Innovation students to apply their skills to address societal issues.
